I printed both the 5 card/page and the 9 card/page. The cards measured 2-3/8" x 3-5/16". Is this right? looks a little small. Never mind! I got if figured out. Scaling was locked on the original image. I got it to 2.5"x 3.5" now. What scaling did you end up using? Mine are coming out 2-3/8" as well...

Anymore, I'd need a scoped Contender to shoot groups that tight...

I gave this a whirl today and I've got a question. Why didn't y'all tell me those blankety-blank targets look are REALLY small at 10 yards? I did manage to turn in a respectable 10 shot group on one target. At 25 yards. With a benched .22 rifle...

Thanks Doug ! For putting the pic up. I tried to follow the challenge as closely as I could with whats here, available. So, the 5.5" 44spec NM FT mid frame was used. I tried wadcutter and SWC loads and, sorry, chose the wadcutters. After 2 sight tweeks, I fired whole cylinder groups at 3 different aces. The pic is of the best one. Truly, happy to group that well, all holes touching. That is only one aspect of the challenge though. I think "removing" the spade truly is the challenge. I think between me and Mr. Keith, I'd still be buying. Oh, my 44spec has a base pin from Keyle and otherwise stock. Me, have arthritis and need glasses, otherwise stock !

. Me, have arthritis and need glasses, otherwise stock ! That’s funny. Good show! I finally printed some cards last night so maybe I’ll try this soon.

I got the opportunity to get back out to the range today and I gave it a real go. This was the best I was able to manage with my 4 5/8 .45 ACP NMBH I shot targets with the .45, 3 different .22s plus my 4.25" and 5" 9mm M&Ps with red dots. I burned somewhere around 300 rounds shooting these and probably half of that was .22.

Here’s my recent attempt with the proper Keith cartridge 44 Special fired from a Ruger 5.5” bisley.

That top center card would have almost been a winner! Great shooting!
