looks like Remington came out with a new bolt action handgun. while i personally would prefer something more traditional looking i must admit it looks like it would be a lot of fun to shoot. www.remington.com/handguns/700-cp

First thought was neither fish nor fowl. Calibers, appearance, mag capacity, etc makes one think tactical; but not sure I'd voluntarily pick a bolt action handgun if entering a tactical situation.
Not sure I'd have much use for some of its features in a pure hunting handgun and I'd probably prefer some other calibers.
Not sure what to think...

I didn't know anything about it until a gun I know mentioned selling some stuff to buy one. I do know one thing, I'd rather have the stuff he was selling than the reason he was selling it.

Totally not my kind of looks, unless Zane is going to make grips and forearms for it But I do like bolt action mag fed repeaters...

it'd be a fun hog and coyote truck gun. I bet it wouldn't be too awful hard to make or find a wood stock for it.

Looks like what today's buyer is looking for. While I have a repeater bolt pistol that one is not my cup of tea. My repeater is a Sako 222...

If I was going full blown Ninja pistol I'd go AR based...

I like it for what it is: another option in the specialty pistol class. I highly doubt I'll get one unless I run across a screaming deal on one in .223 or .300 and I'd like to see some other caliber choices but it's nice to have the option.

Looks like an AR-15 and an XP-100 had a baby!

I just finished T&E on the Remington. My test gun was in .223. The pistol was accurate but I'm disappointed in the barrel length offerings. Future review will be forthcoming in AMERICAN HANDGUNNER. All I can say -- I'm too old for the tactical Ninja crowd.
Axehandle, That Sako is nice!
