Twenty rounds of 6.5 x 55 for my recently completed peep sighted carbine . Same load my other two 6.5's shoot so well 45 gr Imr 4350 140 gr. Hornady sp. Not a barrel burner only around 2600 fps but deadly for the wife on deer.

I loaded around 200 thirty four pound boxes of food at our monthly good box give away through church. The works has done very scared and hungry folks right now who appreciate the good, prayer and encouraging kind words.

Bula, they are similar, the 7-08 is a true short action round the 6.5x55 is more a medium length round.

Weiler Yes all three are 96's so I don't try to hot rod them and there is no need to. They have original barrels long throated so I seat the bullets out just to fit in the magazine, shoots 5 shot groups under 1 in @100. Have yet to recover a bullet from the wife's deer, just go pick up the deer after I hear her shoot.Good internal damage and minimal blood shot meat.I have offered her other guns, anything she wants, she refuses and says this one is mine,I don't need anything else. She is right.

my first “big” rifle was a 1919 vintage m96 at the age of 15, and coincidentally the cost of ammunition was all the encouragement i needed to learn this handloading thing! The book max i worked up to in the lyman 48th edition was 42 grains 4350, offhand i forget what the stated velocity was. i shot the best groups with the 38 grain starting load (darn near same hole at 50 yards) but “needed” power. once i figured my elevation with the 42 grain load that rifle got plenty of work on summer deer and groundhogs out past 300 yards before varmint chores were handled by a nice Model 700 in 222. . Maybe i’ll chronograph the Swede one day

...about 450 rounds 9mm...
Friend was getting out of reloading and sold me two USPS Medium Flat Rate boxes FULL of 115 TC coated bullets. Think I got the for about $0.06 a piece...have two 8# kegs of 700-X so old they are in steel drums but still run just fine... And bought a case of Fiocchi primers and split them with a friend...so I'm figuring less than 10 cents a round to load...

We are able to use single shot 45-70's (really any .35 cal & up in a straight wall case) here in deer season during muzzle-loader season. Always thought about trying the Barnes but never have yet.

17 Remington, for a 14" contender barrel that I just scored from our friend Magnumwheelman
In the box of gear I found plenty of brass - some of it was even prepped and primed also a set of RCBS dies.
With this virus situation the shelves of the only shop I've stopped at lately were pretty bare. The only 17 caliber bullets that I found there were the Hornady 15.5gr NTX
Hodgdon data resource actually had data for that bullet for a powder that I have here. Loaded two. Shot two. 23.1 gr H4895 was the starting load. Fired that and 24.0 grains. Both with no drama or extraction issues etc. Top listed load is 26 grains for a claimed estimate of 4800 plus FPS from their 24" test barrel.
I'll be back at it later in the week with a chronograph. Weather should be good and my range is here on my hill, open whenever I like.
Was nice to touch a couple off before the afternoon chores.
