That’s funny 470, I’m headed to the ranch next week to try and take a turkey with my 500maximum, as well as piggies with my FA97 in 41mag, and try some Barnes 140XPB from a 357 Flat top as well. So I’ve loaded several things to play with as well,......it’ll be good powder therapy!!!

I loaded gallery loads for .32 S&W. A swaged 58gr. HBWC over 1.0gr. of Red Dot with a Federal #100 primer. This spits the bullet out just hard enough to firmly embed it in a 2x10 across the shop, and is remarkably quiet. Perfect for indoor shooting while stuck at home.

What a fun little SA. Love your backstop, more fun than 22 rimfire.

Some .32 H&R yesterday, discovered something I'd missed before. I like seating primers with Lee hand tools, rarely run the press (Dillon 550) in automatic mode except for .45ACP and occasionally .41Mag. When I first loaded these Starline .32H&R cases I found the primers to seat with greater resistance than any others (.223, .308, .41, .38/.357, .32-20 case heads) and tried a couple primer makes with no change. Yesterday I noticed the cases were tilting in the holder and causing a slight misalignment. Holding the cases straight when the primers make first contact overcomes the problem, but that's not been an issue with any other cartridge over the years.
Just loading up some rounds in relative bulk. Usually it's playing with new bullets and powders to see what kind of accuracy I can get and what the chronograph tells me about the data I'm replicating. With good loadings for several bullets why not get them ready for nicer weather and better days?

Just finished 75 480 loads consisting of Missouri Bullets on 8grs of TB,CCI350. A 44psec with another 100grs of bullet. Put a few ACME 370gr on 7grs of TB to try too. With the mild winter, was just taking stock of remaining rice loads, and guessing I'll need more this year ! The ACME bullet, is labeled also as .476", am thing it is shy of..with small bevel too, darn. We'll see.

Thank You Doug ! The red ones are the ACME. Interested to see what the down to 7grs of tB can drive them. Too windy today to set up chrono.

A couple weeks ago I received an order from Precision Delta: 3600 of their 124 gr JHP’s for 9mm. A buddy bought 1000, leaving me with 2600 to play with. I have about 35# of WW231, so I wanted a load using that powder. I settled on a max charge for 2100 of the bullets, and the remaining 500 with be charged with a slight +P load to put back in case times get hard. This is more of a target JHP, but it does expand, as shown in the pic below. It does lose some weight tho, about 50 grains on the two I’ve found. But like I said, it’s just for a tight, in case my Gold Dots get scarce. I try to load 100 rounds every few nights, but since we had storms all day and I was stuck inside, and quarantined, I was able to knock out 285 (I had 85 primers in my 550’s tube when I started). That puts me at just under 1000 loaded, so I’m getting there. I really need that new Dillon 1100!! These shoot pretty good in my Glock 19 and M&P Compact. Still need to try them in my Shadow and my Glock 43. But I’m confident they’ll be ok enough for plinking. And I would imagine when I get a PC Charger, they’ll do ok in it too.

A nice stash of freshly loaded ammo always looks good. We are doing kinda the same thing with all this home time.

Loaded some 250 Keiths over unique per Taffin for my Harton built TLA parts gun. Was looking for a plinking load and Taffin's advice worked.

Whipped up some light loads in 327 with a 100gr Hornady XTP over Titegroup. Really enjoyed using the turret press instead of full progressive. Just satisfying.
