Have a box of 20, 8 X 65R Brenneke brass in the tumbler. Yesterday I sized down .323 Hornady, 170 gr. bullets to .318 so they're ready to load. I'll finish them up this afternoon/evening.

Loaded some 357 158 gr cast swc with Unique. I could not throw a consistent charge last night, Lyman Ideal or RCBS measure didn't matter, tried both. The charges would be a tenth high, low, or dead on. Is it enough to matter, probably not but it bugged the hell out of me as these measures usually throw better than that. So wound up weighing every charge, guess my ocd was working overtime last night.

Twenty rounds of .480 Ruger, with a 400 grain cast and some Unique. These are pretty mild loads, but will stop anything that I'm likely to encounter. I need to fire up the Dillon and load some .45 ACP, .45 Colt, .44 Special, and .44 Mag. And some 9mm and .357 Sig, also.

Man plans and God laughs. Five days ago I was going to finish loading the 8 X 65R Brenneke cartridges. Spreading mulch on this botanical garden the wife calls her "flower beds" consumed 3 days with 3 people and approximately 32,000 lbs. of mulch and it still isn't finished. The mulch was REAL wet and dry was probably 2/3 of that. Anyway, it rained last night so I loaded the Brenneke cartridges this morning....finally!
