Loaded up thirty rounds of 308 to get my son in laws model 700 on paper. Once I get it shooting then I’ll see if I can work up a nice shooting load with either partitions or Accubonds. The plan is for him to go antelope hunting in eastern WY either ghis year if next, depending on draw results. Will go listen to an favorite loads you guys like using 4964, 414 or Varget with 165 grain pills.

I loaded up a batch of .480's that I'm going to take to the range before the weekend to see how the new/used revolver stacks up against my older new/used Ruger. Last year (already seems so long ago) I made a big batch of 325 grainers and PC'd them.
Hopefully my right thumb's connective tissue won't get hammered this time with the Pachmayr's and shooting glove to insulate it.

Cast some 454424’s. We are expecting nasty weather this weekend but today was beautiful. First time using this mold and it’s quite a bit more finicky than my 452460. They will be loaded over some HS-6 once I get them sized and lubricated.

IMR4227 and 250g XTPs showed promise out of my new Henry BBS 45 LC at 50 yards. Just looking for 2” groups at 100 yards for deer hunting this fall. I also loaded up some with AAC-9. Hope to do some more testing before the end of the week.

Nothing since I loaded some 148 gr., HB wadcutters for the Constabulary revolver. Being of the historical and traditional bent shooting contrived ammo just didn't set well. Old West Bullet molds finally got all the pieces together so last week I ordered this, with the correct 125 gr. bullet mold. oldwestbulletmoulds.com/shop/ols/products/38-colt-mould-and-crimp-die-setIt should be here in a couple days, then I'll be busy!!!

Getting some Montana Precision Swagging Paper Patch bullets ready to try in my Cimarron 1885 38-55. It's been years since I tried paper patch bullets. Applying the wet patch (shown dry). After drying. After rolling in Lee Liquid Alox. Next step will be running them through a Lee .380 Bullet Sizer Die, after that I'll load them up in Starline 2.125 brass. Hope they work out! Bullets after running them through the bullet sizer die.

Test round loaded in unsized Winchester 38-55 case. Wanted to use Starline 2.125 cases but those were already sized for another load and would have been too tight for a .381 bullet.
