Some .475 Linebaugh. Just “mid level” stuff. 375 grain cast, 15 of HS6, and WLP. PLENTY of power for anything I’ll chase this year. My favorite load. Literly shot thousands from the FA shown in my avatar. Haven't shot any of my "heavies" in yrs - don't have the hand strength (or concentration) any more. Paul

With Rattlesnake breeding season upon us, and them tending to be ornery during this time, I loaded unobtainable shotshells,….45AR, 41mag, and 500L

Thanks to bigbrowndog I got to load up some 160 gr Sierra RN bullets for my attempt to recreate the original 156 gr RN military Swedish mauser loading that was used before the Swede's decided to upgrade to the 139 gr Spitzer bullet. The Hornady RN 160s would not feed out of the mauser's magazine but I am very happy to report that the Sierras do and do so reliably. Thank you sir!

FOUND A GOOD DEAL ON SOME REM 1 1/2 SP PRIMERS ($7.99 A HUNDRED) AT ACADEMY (BOUGHT 700). DECIDED YO USE THESE TO LOAD UP A BUNCH OF 38 SPECIALS USING W-W BRASS, 4grs OF BULLSEYE, AND OTBC DOUBLE ENDED 148gr WC's. EVERY DECADE OR SO I LOAD THESE UP. THE SMALLEST REVOLVER I WOULD USE 'em IN WOULD BE POST WAR K FRAMES. DO NOT USE THEM MUCH BUT I DO HAVE SOME 38 SPECIAL REVOLVERS INCLUDING AN OFFICERS MODEL, THE 8" PYTON TARGET AND A FS 6.5" N FRAME.
added 4/9/23: last batch i loaded up was in 1990, and still have a few. DARN 45 COLT AND THE 32's JUST DO NOT LEAVE ANY HOLES THAT NEED FILLING FOR HOLSTER REVOLVERS.

Finished loading up 348 Win for some load testing. I finally found where Mr Magoo ended up working. He is the quality control supervisor at Winchester. I had to throw away six or seven pieces of brass out of a bag of 50 because of crumpled necks. And that was brand new coming out of the bag. This stuff is too expensive to throw away.

Pretty rigorous time yesterday with all versions of SK in my NULA 22 RF. It shot the 22 Semi-Auto extremely well, five shots in a quarter inch at 50 yards. Their Semi-Auto runs $70/brick at my LGS, their least expensive SK line.
