I'm a firm believer in before pics... I sent it to Jack Huntington on October 29. It's already complete, but I'm less than trusting on our respective shipping services getting my check to him and the gun to me with a holiday weekend this week.

I'm guessing a Magnum/Special convertible. Nice looking piece.

I'm guessing a Magnum/Special convertible. Nice looking piece. You got it right. Thanks for the compliment. Build: Belt Mtn base pin (W/wolff extra power latch spring), factory Ruger .41 take off barrel cut down and turned down, Stroh front sight, SBH hammer, Carl Schultz American holly. I promise I'll get better pics.

Now that's nice. My favorite caliber, favorite barrel length, and favorite hammer (nice touch). Definitely let us know how it shoots. -Lee www.singleactions.com

Lee - I also love the SBH hammer. However, it has made my foray into OM Rugers fantastically expensive. You might notice it's the only mod that made it into the before picture. I generally don't even shoot NM's with a stock hammer - they get modded if I'm planning on playing with them.

Oooohhhhh..........I have a serious case of the lusts. I've been thinking about something very similar as my last custom. (Yeah sure). Only thing I'd add is Turnbull colors and a No 5 GF.
Sweet! Pete

Got two pics before my memory card told me it was time to clean up some BS on it. I tried to get a pic of the crown, I love it. We cut corners in a few places, maybe it's not a "perfect piece" by some standards, but it's a dual cylinder gun, better than ruger would have produced it, and I have less than $1K in it.

Very nice! It's great to see something other than another 357 to 44 special or 475 or 500 Linebaugh for a change! ;D Ok let the hate post about the 44 special crack begin! ;D
