My BFR sights showed up yesterday, thanks Fermin. This is at least my 3rd shipment of sights now, as always, great service and communication from Fermin and an absolute top quality product.

I received my 3 sights and they are absolutely perfect. They installed on my 500 JRH and 475 L without any problems. I was thinking of putting the 3rd one on my 480 Bisley, but Fermin said that he had some Ruger sight blanks with a similar profile, so I'll probably get a couple of those. It should be much less work just changing the sight blade instead of unsoldering, drilling and tapping the barrel...   I have heard of some variations in the front sight screw threads. I have 5 BFRs and all of them have 6x48 screws, but the last one I bought was around 9 years ago, so maybe it's the newer ones that have changed. My serial numbers range from JT 21X to JT 1214X. The only real variations was the length of the screws went from .193" to .212" FWIW Glenn. |
