The measurement across the flats is .310" The width of the fiber optic front sight is .375" The width of my regular front sights are .370" Here are some closer pics of the front of the barrel.   |

I'll take 5 sights for the BRF, Blued and serrated please.
Width confirmation to follow.
2 sights will need to be .120-.125 width
3 sights will need to be .110 width
My barrel diameter at the sight is .815

Ok, if you ask me, 49 bucks isn't too bad considering A) I have to buy 100 of these, B) the original blank was 35 but serrated it was 42 so these are only 7 bucks more which isn't bad because they took a new program and bigger material to get up to speed.
Anyway, let's start getting the deposits in, and let's not stop trying to find takers for these blades!

Bluing is 7.50 each additional. Standard width is .125" and thinning adds 12 for the first one 10 for the second and 8 for the 3rd. |

I remeasured the front sight blade and it is .125". I didn't notice but there was a bur on the right side and the first time I measured across the the top of the sight and just didn't notice it. The octagon is .765" straight. The area under the ejector rod housing and the top of the barrel were left round. That is my only one from the custom shop. I do have the 45/454/410, 45-70, 475, 500JRH, and 500S&W. Glenn, if you still want 3 sights, your deposit is 147.00 I also need to get the height you want them to be. Bluing is 7.50 each additional. Ok, everybody on the list in the first post should be updated either on the forum or via PM.
Now that we got the pricing worked out we might be able to attract some other takers. I hope. Keep in mind to get you guys this price I have to buy 100 sights, so HELP ME SELL THESE!
These things are .670" tall, so think carefully about what height you want yours to be. I am happy to cut them wherever you like. The serrations are included in the base price so for 7.50 additional I can cut and shape the top line and blue them up for you. Thinning is a little different because they have to be set back up just so in the milling machine so that adds 12 for the first one, 10 for the second, 8 for the 3rd and then 8 ever more after.
