Here’s a .41-caliber bullet I designed through Mountain Molds. It fits nicely between the old Lyman 215 gr and my 290 gr Martin LFN. Here are the specs if anyone wants to order the mold from Dan: I’ve shot close to 500 since January and they track well. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Chasing perfection five shots at a time"

Nice! Have you tested the hardness on a Rockwell scale? That should be one tough bullet!

How you think it would do in a gp-100 41 special?

Nice! Have you tested the hardness on a Rockwell scale? That should be one tough bullet! I've been using 20:1 alloy. I tested an ingot in my Carbine Tree and as expected, it was ~9 Brinell. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Chasing perfection five shots at a time:

How you think it would do in a gp-100 41 special? They should work fine. In the Magnum, 7.0 worth of Green Dot goes 960 fps. I'd back that down 1.5 - 2.0 grs in the Special. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Chasing perfection five shots at a time"

I'm resurrecting an old thread to answer the above question. I recently confirmed these will feed in a Henry. Just finished casting, powder coating, and sizing another 500: -Lee www.singleactions.com"Chasing perfection five shots at a time"

I like that design Lee!! How close in design is that nose compared to the 640 nose design we see with Boolitdesigner designs?

I should add, when sized 0.412" they shoot quite well in the old .405 Winchester: -Lee www.singleactions.com"Chasing perfection five shots at a time"
