Lee, have you done much with your NOE 335 41 molds from your Heavy 41 article?

I should add, when sized 0.412" they shoot quite well in the old .405 Winchester: -Lee www.singleactions.com"Chasing perfection five shots at a time" Wow Lee, not to get off subject but that 405 looks great. I recently stumbled on an odd cartridge (odd to me) the 375 Winchester. Its really got my feathers ruffled. But looking at just basic data its not doing what my heavy 35 Remington is doing. But I like the long straight cases. Man man, if money would just grow on trees!

I ordered it originally from Mountain Molds and had them drop 0.412". At first I intended to only use them in .41 Magnums. Then I decided to try them in my .405 Winchesters. They shoot great but I like to run 0.001" over the groove when sizing. As dropped 0.412", there's almost no sizing when pushed through a 0.412" die. Even so they're very accurate. If I were going to do it over, I'd have them drop 0.413". I'm probably splitting hairs here. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Chasing perfection five shots at a time"

I have a 300 grain from MM that I got from the owner of one of the other forums...Precision Shooting maybe... I'm trying to remember what they drop from the mold. Have not tried any in my .405s yet... They shoot great in the FA 654.

Interested in what you guys are loading Lee's 41-240 with. I finally got around to casting around 200 of these. Powder coated and sized. Ready to load but not sure what powder I wanna start with. I don't have Green Dot that Lee used for his loads. The gun is a custom 5" Ruger NM blackhawk.

I haven't chronograhed them, but have shot 19.5 of H110 and 14.5 of 2400 with that bullet. Not quite max on either. However, they're accurate. -Lee www.singleactions.com "Chasing perfection five shots at a time"
