Switching from a 1911 SA cocked and locked to a striker fired was harder for me than switching from steel to plastic, so the M&P didn't last long for this prior 1911 fan. Now I'm all in for CZ. Try em out.

CZ Compact...small, light highly accurate. The 9's are alloy framed. I carry one alternately with a CM9 Kahr and sometimes have to feel to see which on I have on.

CZ looks way to complicated to me. Make mine simple... A 4th gen G20 is next on my list.

Try em out. I found going from a 1911 to any non safety handgun rather seamless. I sometimes find myself sweeping the non existent safety down and just take a firm grip. No searching, double clutching or anything. Then after just a few hundred rounds of plastic in only I stop. Not even aware when, just notice that no have. And concurrently going back to ma 1911 at the range the safety is right there where my thumb naturally sweeps to and I just hit it. It seems to work for me. What I have done is gotten rid of all my S&W semi autos that had safety off sweeping up. I simply could not do both and was not willing to get confused at an inopportune time.

Handled a few CZs. My match guns are 1911s. Jeff Cooper summed it up well..
