I just bought a G26 I have no need for because it was cheap. But I keep going "Oh what the heck" and buying stuff for it. I've spent more now than I paid for the gun. And I still have no use for it.

Can’t say as I’ve never even shot a Glock or held one that I know of. My little Kahr I got from Zeus does everything I need a pistol to do.

I added the extended takedown lever/thingy, an extended slide stop, and undercut the trigger guard. That, and a fluff-and-buff, and a whole lot of shooting, were adequate.

I also have no use for a Glock 26... But I keep finding myself wanting one 😀 I found out they're a lot bigger than they used to be. When they first came out I fondled then and that thought "pretty cool, for a square block. A lot of firepower for the square inch" But since then I've owned a G36, an LCP and an XDs. The 26 just isn't that small anymore. I planned to shoot mine in Limited division in USPSA, just as a goof. But it's as inaccurate as all get out. So I ordered a KKM barrel. That and the "oh what the heck" trigger I put in it are why the gun has more than doubled in price since I got it. When all is said and done and the goofing off novelty is gone, I'll probably stash in somewhere as a house gun. Probably the bathroom. I mean, you don't want the zombies to come while you're on the dumper.

Have the slide milled for a RMR red dot sight. Install suppressor sights that co-witness with the dot New trigger
The perfect self defense pistol for me. The dot really helps me shoot now that “old guy eye” has set in.

I made the mistake of handling Baer. So the glocks and such went down the road.

25 cent trigger job, leave everything alone as much as possible. If they work as issued, making them better is a crap shoot, messing with them only invites problems. An armload of mags, Magpul at less money shows promise. A 5 gallon bucket of ammo, & sleep comfortably in your bed at night.
Almost forgot. I put a set of Heinie sights on an M24 that I shot in limited class for a couple years, not a much better sight picture around.. Using them seemed to help. And... practice was better than any gadget I've ever used.. He said after buying just about every gadget they make.
Proficient with, and have 1911's in case I'm wrong.

I upgraded to the Sig P320. Six 320's have come into the store this past week. I handled one and the trigger was awesome, much better than the one I looked at a few months ago. I might just have to get one and give it a whirl.

Glock finally shipped my G40... BIG honking gun! Rob Leahy made me a Cuda for it. Ghost connector installed. Holding a Alpha Wolf threaded barrel and a Trijicon RMR for it. 10mm conversion for a Dillon SDB in the shop waiting. Maybe next year...

Handled a G40 at work, was surprised how heavy it is in comparison to the G20. I guess it all makes sense, bigger all around as it is.

I have a “few” Glocks. The only thing I do to them honestly is change the sights typically. I have some that wear Trijicon RMR and threaded barrels from kKM but on most, just a nice set of night sights for carry and I’m good to go.
