Seating depth would be 0.506" and crimp groove to meplat would be 0.386". Can you confirm that it would fit in the 500 WE?

I sure wont argue that a 512 hp wont kill the crap out of a whitetail or pig. I also wont say ive never killed pigs and deer with 500s and 475s but I guess I got the "I killed something with my linebaugh" out of my system and tend to use 41s, 44s and 45s on deer blackbear or pigs. To be totally honest I haven't even handgun hunted in the last 3 years. My eyes have gotten bad enough that 25 yards and MAYBE 50 is about it for me on something the size of a whitetail. For the most part 90 percent of my whitetail hunting these days is doing crop damage shooting at a potato farm. Ive shot a couple that walked out close to the truck with handguns but 90 percent of our shots are 300-400 yards and that's scoped bolt action territory. Probably 90 percent of my handgun shooting over the last few years fermin has been with 1911s and black guns. I do play a lot with cast in them though. They work great cast soft and partical coated. Have you tried pc coating? It allows you to shoot a pure or near pure bullet at top end handgun velocitys and hps come unglued. Nice thing about it to is there about as clean as a jacketed bullet. One day last summer I put 500 through my 9mm ar15 cast out of 5050 pure/ww ran a wet patch though the barrel and then a dry one and that was all it took to clean the barrel. It takes me a lot longer to get copper fouling out when I use jacketed bullets. I can't say enough how glad I am to hear from you Lloyd. My comments above were referring to the 475 and 500 Linebaugh sixguns but these days I am much more likely to have a small bore on my hip as my primary hunting handgun wears a 10 inch barrel and a scope. Oddly enough, I see Bison nearly every time I go to our hunting lease because the high fence ranch next door has a bunch of them. Often they are pretty close and my thinking is twofold, A) what a big target they make and B) I wonder if that big bastard KNOWs he is supposed to stay on the other side of this lame ass fence... I also haven't yet done any powder coating, but I might try it with the 9mm as at some point I plan to load up all my brass for my P320s. The main reason I haven't tried PC is that while I finally used up all that big butter container of lube you sent me some years back (excellent lube too) I replaced it with a large flat rate box of LARs lube and it might take me a while to use it up if I ever do!

I know you guys came up with a 640 design for the 44 special a while back. But what about the 44 magnum have you done one for that yet. That same design should work great. There might be some room to do a slightly (270-280) heavier version but let’s wring out what we have on hand first.

10-4. Guess I will need to look for one of those then. Did not get on that buy. I was hoping for something a little heavier.

Ok. Let me know. I can always crank up another buy. AND we could ask Bob to draw us a slightly heavier version. It is Christmas time after all even for him!
For me tho, the one drawn would be excellent, however I have scant need for a really heavy cast slug...

MP Molds has neither in stock........ 434640... 271 gr. solid, 249 gr. HP 433640... 224 gr solid, 210 gr. HP We can rerun either and change the HP shapes anytime as they won't change the cherry. The Master list.... Hahaha, is in my head, doesn't exist anywhere else (and is in a room piled high with lots of other stuff).

While all this interest is here. I'm a rifle shooter also...with cast, at higher velocities (about 2,400 fps) in bolt, lever and semi-autos. I have a lot of rifle designs. Is anybody interested?

I can't speak for anyone else but I'm thinking the answer will be "yes". Most of my energy is spent with revolvers but rifles and semi-auto pistols aren't too far behind. I run out of hours long before I run out of interests...

Hmmmmm.......without using too much brain power... 250-300gn for the 9.3 and 45gn-ish for the hornet. As I'm uninitiated with shooting cast from a rifle what do you think? I've got one of the 65gn .224 molds Miha did for my 1885 low wall in .223.
