Lee six cavity handles or you can get MP Mold handles with the order (not in price of mold).

The handles Miha makes are pretty nice...not that it really makes much difference...

I see my faithful fellow enablers have answered you already, but I use the Lee handles because I had a bunch already. But looking at the quality of Miha's molds, if I was starting from scratch, I would likely be inclined to just get his handles myself. |

The mold maker will send you an invoice (to your listed e-mail) after the GB is closed when the molds are cut and ready for shipment, payment via PayPal.

Put me in for one 2 cavity please. Bout time I did the right thing and get ready to make some bullets. Gonna order a KKM .45 barrel for my Glock 41 so this will be a good time to start making my own lead I reckon.

Is this group buy closed yet? Would this bullet work well at 45 Win Mag/Casull speeds? I.e., is there an alloy that gives the correct HP expansion/fragmentation with base penetration for those velocities?

Is this group buy closed yet? No, not yet! Climb on! Would this bullet work well at 45 Win Mag/Casull speeds? It has been shot out of a 45 Colt rifle at those speeds and higher. I.e., is there an alloy that gives the correct HP expansion/fragmentation with base penetration for those velocities? Yes.... and the nose will blow off at those speeds...guaranteed! The base will go out the other side... at least up to deer thickness animals...an example only as they have went thru coyotes end to end before. The standard alloy I use is 50% wheelweights / 50% pure lead.... water dropped at those speeds. Vermin don't travel forward, just down. |
