Fermin,
I assume this bullet will feed in a Browning 53 32-20 lever gun? If so I'll take a 4 cavity, .314, all pins, gas check. martydotweatherupatyahoodotcom
mart
Add me to the list for sure. I just picked up a Bisley 32 H&R.

I just picked up a Bisley 32 H&R. Marty, we have found you can crimp the 640 designs in the crimp groove or not to adjust seating depth. They don't seem to be bothered at all. So, yes, they should be fine in your levergun. UPDATED 9-2-17

Fermin Is this still being offered in either PB or GC configuration? I only ask because I don't see any PB updated list. I was thinking of going with the PB for the S7 but maybe I should go with the GC flavor..? I just Dunno know? ? 😕 Thanks Ray

You most certainly can get a plain base.
I would urge you to get both!

Hi, all. I'd like to get in on this buy, however, being new to reloading, I am unsure as to whether to get the plain base or gas check mold. I see most people are going for the gas check version, so I'm kinda' leaning in that direction. I know what a gas check is, and what it does. Is it a necessity when loading the 327? Can a gas check bullet be used without a gas check ? (Obviously a plain base bullet can only be used as a plain base bullet, but if a gas check bullet can be used either way, depending on the load, that might sway me even more in that direction.) I have access to a steady supply of powdercoating powder, so I am planning to play around with that, too. I know that's a lot of questions, but any insight would be appreciated.... pros, cons, opinions? (I know Fermin would urge me to get both, but I only have funds for one right now, so....)
Thanks! Doug

Hi, all.HI DOUG, PLEASE EXCUSE MY ALL CAPS. I'd like to get in on this buy,WE WOULD LOVE TO HAVE YOU however, being new to reloading, WE ARE HERE TO HELP YOU I am unsure as to whether to get the plain base or gas check mold.THAT'S ACTUALLY A GOOD QUESTION. IS YOUR SIXGUN BONE STOCK? IS IT A CUSTOM WITH GOOD DIMENSIONS? HAVE YOU SUCCESSFULLY SHOT PLAIN BASE BULLETS BEFORE? I see most people are going for the gas check version, I THINK MOST PEOPLE PLAN TO STOMP ON THE GAS PEDAL PRETTY HARD HERE so I'm kinda' leaning in that direction. CANT GO WRONG. THINK OF THE GAS CHECK AS ANOTHER LAYER OF INSURANCE FOR THINGS TO GO RIGHT. MORE, ACROSS THE BOARD, I FIND THEM TO BE MORE ACCURATE THAN PLAIN BASE VERSIONS, BUT TRUTH BE TOLD, I AM SPLITTING HAIRS HERE. I know what a gas check is, and what it does. Is it a necessity when loading the 327? ABSOLUTELY NOT. DICK THOMPSON AND TANK HOOVER PAINT THEIR BULLETS WITH GREAT SUCCESS Can a gas check bullet be used without a gas check ? SURE, BUT IT IS FAR LESS LIKELY TO SHOOT STRAIGHT. I DON'T RECOMMEND IT. (Obviously a plain base bullet can only be used as a plain base bullet, ACTUALLY THERE IS SOMETHING CALLED A P CHECK but if a gas check bullet can be used either way, I WOULDN'T COUNT ON IT. depending on the load, that might sway me even more in that direction.) I have access to a steady supply of powdercoating powder, SEARCH SIXSHOT AND HOOVERS THREADS. THAT MIGHT HELP YOU DECIDE. so I am planning to play around with that, too. I know that's a lot of questions, but any insight would be appreciated.... pros, cons, opinions? (I know Fermin would urge me to get both, YOU REALLY NEED BOTH... but I only have funds for one right now, so....)
Thanks! WELCOME Doug
LET US KNOW WHAT YOU DECIDE!!
