Thank you for showing how it's done and done right. I was determined to keep up with all the calculations and procedures, but the cutting of the ratchet teeth was the end. You are a master, I am nothing.

I've messed up a couple pieces of round stock trying to get the ratchet teeth perfect so far. I've got a long way to go before I could be a Martin or Wells wannabe.

I can’t believe I just now clicked on this thread for the very first time. This was the single most fascinating thread to read through, ever. Appreciate you taking the time to detail this project. I realize ‘tools’ have a lot to do with it, but you are a seriously gifted gunsmith.
