Nice, I'm wanting one with an 8 twist, or at least I think I do. It'll be for deer and other critters.

What barrel length do you prefer? I was thinking maybe 24" with an 8 twist to shoot the Barnes TTSX for deer. Ronnie

I am not sure I have a favorite barrel length. My 1:14" guns are 26" and my 1:8" gun is a 27".

Steve built that one I think Fermin. He's doing an almost clone of it now to ship to KS

I hate you both. BEAUTIFUL rifles..... Whatever. I think the main difference in them will be the action and the chamber. I didn't opt for the AI chamber like Durs and went with a custom reamer Steve had made and it has a Surgeon action. I'm excited to see that one come to an end before too long. I was fortunate that Dur had the stock already so I avoided a 20 month wait on that portion thanks again DT!

Strongly considering my 4th 223AI, a 18 1/2" 1:9" twist for my titanium suppressor. Plain ole Rem 700 tho...

Fermin,
GS is correct - this is a Steve Roe/Apache Machine build, on a revamped Rem 700 action. We used a fluted straight/handled PTG bolt and the Surgeon pineapple to replicate my 591 on the 6 Creed. Also installed a Defiance Machine bolt stop/release.
Have been running it with the TBAC ultra 7 for pellet gunesque recoil.
So. Much. Fun.

Steve is threading mine at 5/8x24 to run the standard brakes for the Omega and SpecWar cans. Should be a hoot!
