I know a few of my buds here are LR rifle guys. I'm sure others are as well. We just don't ever get to see those builds very often. Let's see your favorites and a description/build specs. Let's see them Fermin, SC Hunter, ......

I haven't handled one of Mcree stocks yet. That's a good looking rifle! Who built this one?

That looks like a pig killing machine!! I have an SAC in 6 Creed and it's a great shooting rifle! He does great work. I think mine is in a Manners stock though. Not near as cool looking as the AI chassis

My 260 Rem. Stiller single shot predator action Krieger medium varmint contour, 1 in 8 twist about 28" Vais brake Shehane Tracker stock by McMillan Jewell trigger Nightforce 8-32 142 grn. Sierra Mk's @ 2890 fps First had it in a H-S Precision 40x stock & tried to use it as a long range varmint rifle using a bipod. It never handled well that way IMO so I put it in the long range bench rest stock, balanced it with about a pound lead in the but, & in came in to its own. It's a lot of fun, but my next 260 will shorter & lighter, I'm gathering parts for it now.

Is the 260 a hunting rig or just range time? I have a couple of LW 260s almost finished at NULA now. Neat round and wanted some short light ones for hunting and packing. Have you enjoyed the round so far?
I have a 6.5 Creed which is similar and I've been VERY impressed with its accuracy.

Have you enjoyed the round so far? I have a 6.5 Creed which is similar and I've been VERY impressed with its accuracy. Can't call it hunting but it's been to some Colorado & Nebraska prairie dog towns on 3 or 4 different occasions. I don't use it every day, just try to catch the wind calm & get it out once or twice a trip for some 1000 yd. stuff. It usually just rings steel or shoots a group now and then here at home. The 6.5 Cm. had not been introduced when I built this gun, but either would have been fine. They both will stay supersonic to about 1400 yds. & that's the furthest I've ever tried shoot anyway. I'm happy though with the 260 & it's accurate also. The fact that Lapua now makes 260 brass is a plus imo. I think a NULA in 260 will be a great combo. Hope you post a pick or 2 when they're done.

Can do. I have a 22 repeater in that group he's working on as well for my son as he was trying to lay claim to mine so I fixed that Several of us on the forum here have used my 6.5 CM out to about 1850 if I remember correctly and it did really well but we were at a good altitude with the Berger 140 Hybrids. It shot really well those few days. Even along side my 338 Lapua and SC Hunters custom 300 Win he had with him that day. It's pretty shocking what those little guns an do at distance.
