A Glock. Shot a Glock 19 & 43, plus a Sig 320. First time I've ever shot a Glock. Not bad, but I liked the Sig more. Nicer trigger. Heard SIGs are nice never shot one, but on the Glock, once you learn the spot in the trigger that it breaks, it feels consistent. You can polish internals but generally they wear in from use. Found myself becoming impatient through the trigger travel with the Glocks. They were range rentals. No idea how well broken in they might be.

Yesterday and today. It was the old, large frame Vaquero in 45 Colt. The cylinder was just back from Ryan Ross’ shop where he opened the throats uniformly and gave it a quick rust brown freshening up. I asked him not to get carried away since this thing lives in a holster and spends its days in my back pocket on a tractor or a mower. That target is from 30 yards after a couple of hours of mowing. I’m past 60, bad eyes and my hands have really cool tremors. Those five shots are about as good as it gets for me. I was pleased. Oh, I shot six rounds, where the sixth one went is anyone’s guess but it sure wasn’t the gun’s fault. Tim

Same age and issues, and I'd be happy with that grouping and the gun too !

A couple weeks ago I put 50 firelapping rounds through my .41 Bisley Blackhawk, a gun I thoroughly enjoy but was unimpressed with it's groups. Turns out, Fermin put me on course yet again. 210 SWC over 9 grains of Unique. I apologize for not shooting the press-on orange dot, but I'm thrifty that way. 36 feet, six shots.

Also took along my new GP-100 in .327 Fed. Four shots @ 36 feet, 90 gr Sierra over 8.5 gr HS-6. (going to drop down a half next time).

A shot a finish nailer today on a job where I did find sheet rock plus ran a bunch of base and quarter round. This retirement thing is wearing me out.

This AM a big cylinder 45 Colt with heavy Underwood ammunition. Brisk.
This evening the 44-40 Vaquero following the reaming of the throats to .431 255 Keith type gas checks and a stout load of 2400. Nice.
Hopefully I will be able to count some squirrels in the morning...

6mm Remington using Reloder 19 with 70gr, 80gr and 87gr varmint bullets. Previously, trying out IMR's 4166 and 4451 at 1.5-2gr below book max, got stiff bolt lift. Will be interesting to find when/if the same occurs as loads using RL19 inch upward within the book's (Nosler) listed range.

Test drove a 218 Bee Ruger conversion. Put about 20 rounds through it while touring one of our creek beds this morning.
What a honey!

This evening, 4" GP100 with 200gr Cast Performance WLNGC at 100 yards on steel.
Wanted to see if the 12.5gr 110 would keep them stable down there from the little 4" gun. POI was at POA for a hand-sized group of head-on hits on the plate.
I'm good with that. It'll do for now until I put it over the chronograph.

Shot the .22 Cricket and the .44 Flat Top today. Clay bird chips with the .22 and some shootemup ammo at 75 yds and steel with the .44 at 75 yds. That X R Red grip frame beats hell out of my middle knuckle even with Pachmayrs . Nice day but hot.

I wonder if you can get a finish nailer CCH'd ? That's a good question. I would think that the only issue would be if you have to drag the air hose. I use a Paslode and suspect a kydex holster would be about perfect. In shorts and a t-shirt it would probably print somewhat though. But consider this, 40 shots unless you put 2 sticks in, then it's a 80 before a reload! Trim wouldn't be safe ever again!
