I met Dick (sixshot) for lunch then went to the range. Each of us had our Bog Pod and a stool. I shot my 41 Mag RedHawk with several different loads and my Freedom Arms 41 Mag. I haven’t shot the RedHawk since 2015. I haven’t shot the Freedom Arms since 2017 in Alaska. I tested out 3 different loads in the 44 Mag Bisley hunter. I then tested out 2 different loads in the 45 Colt. Each gun shot well and we killed the plate rack many times. Several people drove up behind us and watched for a few minutes then left. One did talk to us for a while. We then went to the local watering hole for a huckleberry milkshake. I sure do miss the worlds largest playground. Back home I mowed the lawn before I set down. I think that old age has crept up on me some now.

Burning a little daylight between yard work and church later this afternoon I hauled my Buckeye Ruger in 32-20 to my bench end emptied 25 cases. Then the old eyes got fuzzy so that was enough. I forgot to put my "Magical Blue Painters Tape" diopter on my glasses and was too lazy to walk back to the house and get a piece.

Not today, it was actually Friday evening, but nonetheless a little work with my 4 5/8" Blackhawk .41 Magnum.
Since most of my opportunities on game are when I'm out roaming around, I try to do most of my shooting and practicing offhand. Also, this is my first time dabbling in video editing, so be patient with the elementary videos!
First 50yds.-
Then 75 yds.-
And finally 100 yds., only seated/back-rested-
Definitely not my best shooting, but I enjoy it!

10 Rounds DAO at 50 feet out of the 327 SP101... I'm thinking this thing just might show out stuck in my Ransom Rest with some proper ammo. Still holding those M*Carbo springs with trigger and hammer shims too.

Sharps Q model in our Buffalo match, 312 yards, took 2nd place. Yesterday. For what it's worth, I got beat by a fella shooting a borrowed Miroku Winchester highball 40-65 that went for heads shots, 5 points per hit. My attempts were all heart shots of which I had 7. Headshots counted a little less but were a lot easier to hit. The heart shots were 7 points per hit, but I had at least 8 shots just outside the heart that scored only 1 point each. The heart is 6" in diameter. Maybe next time, I'll put 10 in the head and 10 at the heart.

I shot my SRH and SBH .480's. I let a couple of mouse gun shooters have a go with them, I think one was interested in a .44 now.

I've started the run down to deer season shooting. A couple of cold barrel shots most days. No bench, sitting on a foam pad that velcos to back of belt. Seems to be an uptick in volume of vermin type pests, greater than the usual for the season. The Beeman 22 pellet rifle has been helping out.

4 5/8" stainless 44 special flattop, slicked up trigger, wolf spring kit, trigger and hammer shim kit and a .110 wide x.400 tall 2dogs front sight. got the initial sight in yesterday and some 25 yard work. this morning took my longbow with a new string and my 44 to a public hunting area that i can shoot on. put up the 8" steel target at 50 yards. seated leaning with my back against the back tire of the truck off a set of bipod shooting sticks. shooting almost directly into strong sunlight. Managed 15 out of 18 hits. I havent shot open sights for years but this revolver with a new sight is getting me back into it.
