Probably around 30 different powders in the cabinet. But if you had to be a minimalist H110 and Unique for handguns 4895 and 4831 for rifles.
I don't think there are many calibers you couldn't load with the above 4. Of course there are more specialized powders that work particularly well in specific calibers and "ranges".

Hmmm... you guys reminded me I have some black powder substitutes I don't even know what to do with. Maybe load some up in the step sons gen 1 SAA in .32-20. That might be fun.

After trying Trail Boss in the 480, am now adding TB to the permanently on hand list.

After trying Trail Boss in the 480, am now adding TB to the permanently on hand list. Hahaha, fun isnt it! It's a riot in rifle rounds too! I have loaded it in my .375 H&H and .457 Lott. Does wonders to fill up those monster cases. -John
