As the title says, I know there are a lot of .41 Mag fans out there. Me being one of them. I do not own a .41 Mag anymore but that is soon to change. Love that round. Want to do a long barreled custom bisley in .41 mag with 5 shot long cylinder with the possibility of shooting the 1.4" case. share any photos, loads, stories (hunting or long range shooting) of your .41 mag. thanks

I called Lipsey's a while back and asked them if they would come out with a .41 Magnum Blackhawk Flat top along the lines of their .44 Special. But in Stainless with a 5.5" barrel ;-)

I love my Ruger Blackhawk 41 magnum with 6 and 4.63' barrels. I load 210 gr LSWCs with 5.0 to 5.5 grs. Titegroup. Great for shooting paper!

The midframe won't give you enough length to go with the 1.4" case and WLN bullets. If you want a 1.4" go with a full size and try to pin down a maximum cylinder - it's a significant cost savings over a custom cylinder (if you can still find them). James, is that a 58 with sights added? Here are a couple that have been through my hands: CCH & stainless .41 1.4" .41 a 414: Currently the only .41 that lives here is this #5 by Harton. I haven't even shot it yet. I am working on getting a .41 Mag N frame mountain gun built on a 629 frame using a TI cylinder.

Here is my Old model 41 mag that doesn't get shot near enough. I had Jack Huntington round the trigger guard and reshape a SBH dragoon grip frame I had in my parts bin. He also reblued it with a matte/satin finish. It's more of a working gun, so I didn't ask for high polish bluing or super fancy grips.

I bought one of the .41 Desert Eagles on clearance from CDNN and sent it to Ford's for black chroming. It is hard to take pictures of. They did an excellent job on the polish. It looks like you just pulled it out of a bucket of black Imron auto paint.
Also have one of the 5.5" Stainless Bisleys, and I ordered my Freedom Arms Field Grade .41 with a 10" barrel.
Love me some .41's.
You guys have posted some beautiful guns!

I have a couple of 41 Mags, though neither are single actions. I have a 9" MGM barreled Contender and a S&W 657. Both are excellent shooters with 210 grain Remington JSP's and Hornady XTP's. I've used the TC to take 5 deer and it is an awesome deer gun! Here is a Redhawk Hunter that I used to own, but it now resides in my buddy SCHunter's safe. I'm sure that it is well cared for. I'm a 41 Mag fan!
