Nothing too fancy here, just a few fairly stock revolvers with minor changes Accusport, first run, with Bowen Rough Country sight and Lett "fancy" walnut grips Standard Bisley, ca. 1987. This one shoots particularly well. Hey! Who left the door open? S&W M57-1, ca. 1988, with Kurac maple grips. My first N-frame, way back when. I traded a little Beretta M21 for it PLUS a flat-latch M34. Guy REALLY wanted the Beretta. I really like these revolvers and this cartridge, in general. I've been a bit lax, though, and have been shooting my .44s and .45s more than these.

Aggie01, The S&W you asked about started life as a 44 mag. This was one of them made before they added their "performance package" and when I fired factory ammo the cylinder would unlock so the next round was the one I just fired. Anyway, I found a parts guy and ordered a 41 barrel and cylinder and had Austin Behlert fit them to the 44 frame. The barrel in question is a factory 58 barrel and the front sight was machined and not an add on. Brought the gun to a SWCA meeting and no one could shed any light on why it was made that way. I call it my model 58 1/2.... As you can see in the photo the red insert is pinned but the ramp and barrel are one piece. I`ve never seen another one like it.....

A little late to the show but... Here's my OM 3 screw .41 with it's brand new scabbard. It's long been my favorite "Packing Pistol" and has harvested several deer and hogs, along with one torqued off skunk! Now that the leather has arrived I can even wear it to church!

I only have a couple. The bottom is awaiting a trip to Clements to be reworked into a 44-40.

Only 119 of the 4 5/8" flat tops were made?
I've got one sitting in the safe and had no idea they were that few. Knew they were hard to find.
I bought it for the serial number placement.
Glad I've got it but if that is the right number I can't bring myself to cut it up.....

I have one too. I also had the 6.5" barrel copy, but it was sent to JRH and now wears a 5" S&W barrel, etc. There weren't many of the 6.5" ones either...
