Does anyone have a NEW creation in the works?? Not a historical re-hash,....new. I'm waiting for someone to drop in with a front loading single action firing .50 cal bullets from a .32 ctg. ;D Anyone,...anything,.....?

Dude I have a 475L, 500L and a 414 in the works. Sounds to me like it is time for somebody to man up and get his own project started.... What do you propose.... You need Robb to sell you a project gun? ;D

That's exactly what is going on!!!!! I'm looking for ideas my good man,......bored with the standard stuff and rebuilding someone else's creations. Finished the 'needs' in '07. Looking for a new want. You know, the want that somehow becomes a need. I have a few 'project guns' already. Three 357 flattop shooters are waiting quitely for inspiration,....but if someone has one they want to sell I'm all ears. ;D Robb??? ;D ;D

So you want us to tell you what you like? Papa's paradox idea is kewl... I'd like to see it on a NM with a custom full cylinder frame length cylinder.... While I enjoy a quality pop gun like the 17s, 22s, 32s, 38s, and the like as much as anyone I get a better fix out of a 41, 44, 45, 475, or 50 cal...

Nothing new in the works right now, just waiting for a couple of projects to get worked on or finished up. The head scratching is over what to have done next. There are a couple of barrels, gripframes, OM hammer/trigger sets floating around along with a 357 OM FT, an OM 44 FT and a protected sight OM 357 so the question is what to have done. I've kind of fallen for the ribbed S&W barrel Andy did on the 41 Special so I'm kind of leaning towards a ribbed 45 Colt with Clements parts and either the Powers #5 frame when it shows up or a bisley frame. I am waiting to hear back form Alan Harton as to when he wants the FA to try the bisley hammer as well. When it goes down, there will also be an OM SBH frame going down along with some parts to become my first 475. It should be an OM clone of Zeus' only blued rather than SS. Too many options, too little time

Thanks for the idea. Bill

How about a paradox/snake shot pistol using a 500 S&W brass trimed to full cyl length. Brass could be 1.9" or so. Load with 1oz (437.5gr) of shot. It just might work well on quail over pointing dogs.

Given any thought to a 357-44 Bain and Davis, or how about a 38 Cassull, maybe a 400 cor-bon, or for something you really don't see every day, how about 256 Winchester?

I have to admit that when I started this thread I wasn't so much looking for a new caliber,.....as a newish design, function, etc.
After a little thinking,.......I believe I have an idea. Papa's idea with a little twist.
What are Bowen's turn times right now??

What about a single action set up like a Dan Wesson with different barrels? You would need to change the ejecor rod setup also, but it would be different.
