Prolly going to stick with 440s or 412s because that's what my MP 512640 mold drops in solids and HPs respectively.

Besides if you didn't plan on running 525gr bullets I doubt Bowen would have made it with enough front sight to start with. Fine, fine revolver...

Oh Hell,
You had to mention the front sight thing.
Now I'll have to go out and get some 525s just to see!

That's a real beauty. I am trying to decide between a Bisley Nimrod or a Redhawk conversion. I have a long time to think about though!

That is without a doubt.....THE Ultimate SRH!!!!! Words like "gorgeous", beautiful" "stunning" don't even come close!!! I can't even imagine the amount of time and work that must have went into that sweetheart!!! It's seamless, almost like it could have come from the factory!!

Very well done, love the looks of that. Hope to hear a comparison between the standard redhawk grip frame and the super. If I was going to build another DA it would be just like that. Can't wait to see the grips.

Help me. I'm slow. Was the front cut off the SRH and the ring mounts welded?
Or is it just now a "Super" Redhawk?
I really like the beast. Just curious.

The base gun was a .44 Super Redhawk Alaskan.
Bowen cut the snout to accept the re-bored Acaconda barrel.
That way there are no ring grooves to weld up.

I'm very seldom jealous of much, but this gun is so well planned and executed it's darn hard not to have a very strong jealous twinge. I hope, and fully expect it will shoot as well as it looks and give you much enjoyment.
