I'VE GOT BLISTERS ON MY FINGERS !!!! a quote from the Beatles... I think after Helter Skelter??? been finishing up the last 200 - 257 Special cases, giving the RCBS case prep center a workout cleaning up the case mouths after file trimming to final length... ... glad the cases are stable & pretty much maintenace free, after I get them made... will be close to 500 cases now... should be good for quite a while next up on the list, is a good load for my 44 Special Flat Top... then on to 480 Ruger, for my new Alaskan ( won an auction on Gun Broker last week )

Finally got a chance to try some of the coated bullets from Missouri Bullet Co. in my Ruger Flattop .44 Special. They shot great! Just a fun load with Trail Boss to give them a try. The big surprise was they shot very well in my S&W Model 29 .44 Magnum too! It has the newer EDM rifling and doesn't alway handle cast bullets without leading. Didn't get ANY leading in either gun with this load! Love it! Thirteen shots offhand at 25 yards (Blew one) with the Model-29. A real pussycat in the heavier gun. Bullet: Missouri Bullet Company 200 gr. RNFP (.430/Cowboy Alloy/Hi-Tek) Powder: IMR Trail Boss 5.8 grs. Primer: Winchester Large Pistol Case: Remington .44 Special Comments: Taper-crimp

Tried the Model-29 today using .44 Magnum brass instead of .44 Special. HOLY COW! Shot even better! One hole groups at 50 feet! Couldn't believe it, this gun has never shot like that with hard cast and crayon lube! I'm getting more!
NO LEADING AT ALL! Spotless!
Bullet: Missouri Bullet Company 200 gr. RNFP (.430/Cowboy Alloy/Hi-Tek) Powder: IMR Trail Boss 6.0 grs. Primer: Federal 150 Case: PMC .44 Magnum Comments: Taper-crimp
