That cylinder fit is exactly what I want in a custom! Thanks for helping me realize that! Actually, that gun is very close to perfect to me, almost exactly what i would order. That's a little ways down the road, but I'll be saving the pictures for future reference!
Looking forward to the range report!

Whit- that is beautiful! Is the brass readily available? I looked at Jack's website, it seems like the prices are half of what i am used to seeing! Can you tell that you have made me start thinking about a project? Jordan

Can you tell that you have made me start thinking about a project? Jordan Jack's website is currently being reconstructed from top to bottom -- finally. Jack is offering cut-down .500 Smith & Wesson brass until Starline again ramps up production.

Will the new site include an email contact?
Great looking revolver; the case hardening and the reflective figure in the grips complement one another beautifully.

Thank you!
Jack doesn't like the internet as he finds it distracting. Perhaps that is why he can build revolvers in such short time!

That is just stunning, a very beautiful piece. I'm wondering, did this gun start life as a regular Blackhawk or a Bisley? I'm curious because one of these days I'd like to have something like this done. Yours look like the perfect big bore.

Whitworth,
That is a sweet gun in every way. Very impressed. That Jack is a freak of talent. I would be very proud to own that gun. I am impressed with Jack's work.
I am interested in finding out how much more it is to get a best grade from Jack? I have a gun with him, scheduled for a full build currently, and I did not know that. I will have to pass it on to him.
Thanks for the pictures!

Whit .... there's a lot of nice features on that .500 JRH that makes it really special. I spoke w/ Matt (seasons 44) a few nights ago, and he's pretty much convinced me that the next custom project (including a banded pac-nor bbl) will go to Jack foe some of his magic. Matt couldn't say enough complimentary things about you and Jack during our conversation the other night. Incidentally, does he have his bluing done locally or use Turnbull ?
By the way, you might want to consider adding pix and specs of this good lookin' piece to the "Handgun Blue Print Thread".
This is a nice addition to your stable, for sure !

You are right, I need to add it to the blueprint thread and I will. Thank you for the kind words! Jack does his own bluing but has Turnbull do his CCH.
