"All my friends has money, and I has none..." Could be worse man,I've been unemployed for a long while. Thinking of selling off some of my guns to start a small business, nobody is hiring in my area. Happy with what I have, always happy to see what other folks have. Best way to be.

Thanks Rob, If I had hands your size I would have Herrett Jordans on there. But then I don't. The Ahrends serve their purpose.

Ya know I got stubby fingers and the Trooper feel a little big UNTIL I fire the gun then they feel PERFECT! The absolute most comfortable stock design, for my hands for handling heavy loaded .44 mag recoil.

walkswithgun: I ordered that from Brownells, the gunsmith catalog. SDM is the company that makes them and they have a web site also.
It's a pin in so order a pin for the sight when ordering. They used to ship with a sight pin but I got one without. So I order an extra sight pin as a precaution.

walks withgun: The height of that pin is .250 inches. I believe they list two heights .300 and a .250 get the shorter and it will square up with your rear sight blade for elevation.

Robl if you're still reading this thread the Mountian Revolvers, One of which I have a photo of, on this thread, was issued with a Pachmayr enclosed backstrap, finger groove grip. Still have the grip if you want it! By the way, over the years rubber material from the grip embedded itself into the hard chrome of the revolver. The gun is stainless with hard chrome finish.

Zeke 38: I am grateful for the offer, but will order another set of Troopers from Rod Harrett. I did not know about the hard chrome over stainless. I thought only John Rourke had that done to his guns. Rob
