I did not think Ruger would respond with the reason. But I think Ruger is a stand up company and they stand behind their product. I'm a 3 screw fan and they have even came through on 1 of those for me. (and I do own a few new models)

When I know I'm going to be inside my Car, I'll use a shoulder holster and have 2 to 4 loaded mags for my 1911 Commander. I also have a S & W model 38 inside a IWB. I like to have 2 speed loaders around. but it's just the S & W come warm weather, and you can bet my 1911 is not far away.

I loaded for a custom 300 Whisper XP100 in the 90s. The gas gun with suppressor is the new part.. Now that I've got 2 Whispers, You got mt e to thinking. I want a XP in 300 Whisper 14" barrel and a can. How did you like your XP?

And if anyone cares, the chamber throats on the 454 measure at .454 with pin gauge. Interesting, are you going to shoot standard .452 sized bullets or will you shoot a larger size?

Smoked for 30 years and I was able to stop more than 11 years ago. Hardest thing I ever did. " Little Willpower", takes more than that. Not a day goes by that I'm not made aware of how glad I am that I did.

I wish your Freedom Arms had been listed last Saturday. Made a purchase, and I almost wish somehow he would back out of the sale that we agreed upon, because that 45 would be on it's way to my house.

I have a 300 Whisper on a TC Contender along with a SSK can, (Suppressor). I 'am in the middle of building a Whisper on a Model 7 also a 16.25" barrel. I cannot wait until I finish putting it together. My Contender is a dream to shoot, so much so that I'm thinking of going through the steps to purchase another can. And of course I'll buy it from SSK. Hollywood quite yep it's the truth.

Hey diddle, I like your thought about the 44 Special. Mines a 5.5" and I love it.
