I would really like to know how they measured those barrels...

Those Missouri 340gr bullets are reasonably priced and have been shooting really well for me. I just got 100 of the 400gr from Western Bullet to load but it might be a while before those find their way into a case. I'm hoping they shoot well since the price was right.
I should mention WBC takes forever to ship, but they did eventually show up.

Thank you, I was having a hard time with consistency but managed to put up a few good ones. Most of the 3 shot strings were between 2-3" at 50yds, I had only one really good group (above), and a few bad ones.

I just realized that is the best 50 yard group I've ever shot, and with bullets that cost 16 cents a piece to boot. This 480's a keeper.

I saw it on Gun Genie while looking at other items, thought it was a typo at first!

That is a beautiful gun which can likely out shoot 99.99% of its potential handlers. I would contribute with the $3,000+ customs...but I don't have one! I'll be sure to fix that some day.

One of my key reasons for a convertible cylinder gun is the ability to keep one load per caliber, yet move up considerably in power with a cylinder change.

That sounds like the best idea if you want a replaceable sight system.

I've had good luck with my Dillon electronic scale, it holds zero well and reads out very quickly. Only been using it for a few years though so I hope it continues to perform that way.

45 for me, between the ACP, Colt, and Casull I'd be set for life.

This reminds me of the Birdshead Vaquero pricing about two years ago. Bought one for slightly less than what they get now but there was a 30-50% premium when folks thought they were gone for good. I'm sure prices will settle in time.

Would like to stay with either 44 or 480 as have dies, components and data compiled already. A 480 Alaskan sounds like the ticket.
