Stan, is that one a 6” or 6.5”? I’ve been in search on a no dash 6”.

Absolutely beautiful! That’ll be hunting in class, Mark! Reminds me - I’ve got a set of bighorn scales laying on my bench that needs to be displayed on something. I believe would look good on a FA 97 - I need to contact Rob.

We need a report on what Punxsutawney Phil will say! All I know is: you better keep him out of range of Doc Rogers or you’ll have to rely on the weather channel.

My hunting load for my 6” barreled Ruger Blackhawk is the 230gr Keith bullet, mentioned above by Sixshot, over 8.5gr of Unique. I haven’t shot through a chronograph, but I have shot through deer, bear, and ram - works quite well and very accurate.

Just got one. I like it however I'll say I think Barrantis is better. Yes, I have three FA belt holsters that are good quality and I like them, but they are not Barranti quality.

I keep thinking about Gary’s wildcats based on the .204 Ruger Ronnie, I have something you may be interested in. I just don’t have time to do anything with it. Shoot me a pm if I’ve stirred your interest😜.

Beautiful revolver, Rob! I bet it’ll light up a porcupine! Knife appears to be a”Pierpoint” Hunter. 😜

Those are both great looking pieces, but that Horvath really catches my eye.

Thanks Kim, I’ll see if I can try that with my Marsupial case . If it’s the harness system I just looked up, it probably won’t work. With my leupold binos, I just use the provided neck strap and neoprene case. Only leave in the case if it’s wet/rainy, otherwise they’re caseless.

Very nice looking holster! I’ve used one if Mike Barranti’s along with several other makers chest holsters but I keep running into the same problem with all of them. I don’t leave my truck without grabbing my old binoculars which ride on my chest via either a web harness or in a padded rig by Marsupial. I would rather go hunting without a firearm than I would without my old Leicas and I just haven’t figured out a way to carry both gun and binos in chest rigs at the same time. Maybe one of you guys have figured out a way to do so and can share. Robb, I used to have the same issue. I solved it by carrying my binos strap cross chest with binos hanging under my right arm. If I’m carrying a belt holster, I still carry binos the same way, but opposite the side of gun. I’ve found this method to be much more comfortable and just as quick to deploy, but without binos swinging and banging on everything.
