Wife still in Fla seeing to the last care of her Mother. Hospice home care in place. She hasn't taken in food for a week and no liquid for 4 days or so. Hospice said she wouldn't make it to the weekend, last weekend. Her morphine dosage and oxygen use rate is climbing.. Fla requires a 10 day "hold" on deceased, before releasing for burial. A major pain for family taking turns to visit before death and wanting to be there for funerals. A nephew may drive my wife back here, and then back. The short notice airfare is crazy. I'm not good at batching it. Last of mowing overlapping with leaves dropping, and picking up household chores foreign to me..difficult. Did manage to take a couple 480's out back for some BOOM therapy. Every now and then a good group showed up, the guns have potential. I'm not the shooter I used to be.

Temps here in NE Ohio are dropping, today may be the 1st day since early May that I wear long pants. Between snows I live in shorts. My metabolism isn't what it used to be ! Winter isn't too far off. When your belly button lint matches your long underwear color, it's winter. Used to be Duofold red, until Helly Hanson came out with the first pol-pro(navy blue) that showed up around here in the late 70's.. Still have some of both.

29* this morning... last colder than normal day, remnants of those Dakota blizzards... we got the cold & the winds, but only saw enough snow to see some white in the grass, before it melted but did get a couple mornings of heavy frost...

Was wondering if you got snow. We tend to get a milder version of what you enjoy !

Well, except for the dreaded "Lake Effect" Precip. The rain today is lake effect. Radar cannot track it from afar, it just blossoms 5-20 miles out on the lake and then overhead quick.

We seem to be getting a fair amount of the lake effect rain.

Yeah, see dark blobs appear to my north, and sliding closer to straight east than usual. Stuff coming in over Erie to Buff., heading your way. Steelhead weather.

Never fished them. At least temps are in the 40s.

556 connection is interesting... FWIW we've had issues with AR Pistols blowing primers out.

My retired tool & die buddy says that round is ripe for trouble, straight cases, pressures, & semi autos... I wouldn't have thought the primers would have been the 1st issue, especially with them being swagged in
