'96 Bowen WITH Taylor throating, he doesn't do that anymore Turnbull Open Range with upgraded grips, won't get fired until my 2 year old cuts that tye wrap USFA with grips from them also. Don't know who they farmed it out to. The grain in the ivory looks as thogh God himself painted it. Wait, he did

I do not know if there is anything prettier than a tradtional SAA with ivories. The contrast between Turnbull colors and ivory is just amazing. Love that gun.

These light color grips with dark steel seem to be a challenge for everyone. Ivory, ivory micarta, minimal bark stag and the like seem to be really bright.. Is wash out the proper term to call it? Anyway... We need to get someone like Boge to tell us how to set up our camera, light, and background to show the grain in the grips and the detail of the CCH at the same time.. How about it Boge? Got any photography secrets you might be willing to share with us?

No shade, but here are a couple lousy iphone pictures showing our daylight level on an overcast Alaskan evening at 10:30pm. Couldn't resist a chance to show off one of my wifes little flower gardens. This is a super sweet little Bowen Vaquero 45. Its an ACP with extra LC cylinder. I just picked it up recently, so only played with the ACP cylinder, and its deadly accurate. Love it so far.

Here is a six-shot Linebaugh converted 45. Original base gun was a 357 Bisley, bored cylinder and new barrel. Gentleman had it build back in the early 90's. I got it a year or two ago. One of my favorite plinkers.

Here is one of my favorite 45's. Its a Clements conversion to tight oversize 5-shot. Has a really nice bronze color to the bluing which I love. And the sights are super cool with nightsite inserts. The rear sight looks like a Bowen, but has two horizontal bars. Poor pic's since my cameras are at the office, so tried my best with the iphone.

Here's my SS Bisley .45 Colt/.45 ACP Convertible (with the .45 ACP cylinder). I had to ream both cylinders but now both calibers shoot like a high grade match pistol: It's a MOST practical convertible. Dale53
