There's some great iron in this thread. Love the nickel 44 toroflow. Boge - how's your triple-lock shoot? I remember you posting it after you got it, but was meaning to ask how it shot. The shortened barrel is really slick. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Building carpal tunnel one round at a time"

Lee, it shoots great - the sights leave something to be desired for precision shooting, but the old gal still done herself proud in several shooters' hands at the Shootist Holiday. Plus, our pal Cannon Watts borrowed it to shoot in the Memorial Service we have to the Shootists who passed away during the year.
By the way - the Memorial was particularly emotional (and neat) for me this year, as one of the Shootists we were honoring was a dear, dear friend of mine. I was doing the music for the Memorial, so I didn't get to shoot in it, but four of my sixguns did! It was pretty cool, all were 44 Specials - Jeff shot S.S.6, our Vice-Chairman Bud McDonald shot my USFA 20th Anniversary Shootist SAA, Cannon shot my Triple Lock, and Tom Lindner shot my recently-acquired USFA Bisley Target (pretty cool, that sixgun has now been fired exactly three times - in the Memorial service! It was unfired before, and hasn't been fired since).

I'm not much of a Double Action fan, but I do have a Realtree Anaconda and a 625, and a 629 PP and a ,,,
