If you only own one N-frame Whit, a Lew Horton 629 is hard to beat. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Building carpal tunnel one round at a time"

Here is my Model 29 after returning it to Smith for installation of the "endurance package" and new 8 3/8" full lug barrel: And, cut to 6" by Memphis gunsmith Bob Mason: And here posed with my other Model 29s, the one to the right is a 5" full lug made up by Smith & Wesson: Bob Wright

Those are some great looking guns Bob. I did not know S&W would upgrade to the endurance package. I have a 4" 29-2 that could use that treatment. (It spins back with heavier loads).

I agree with Lee, the 657 is my favorite 3" N frame...here's a pair.... And they're in this "wheel" or "clock" of 3" N frames also (don't mind the girlee "L" frames in the center): And then, some long barreled N frame nickels (someone DID want to see long barrels, right?)

I'm in awe toroflow. Both sets are impressive, but I'm really drawn to the 3" N-frame collection. How many years did it take to amass those? -Lee www.singleactions.com"Building carpal tunnel one round at a time"

Bob...the 5" full lug N-frame looks spot on. I really wish the factory would offer such a model. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Building carpal tunnel one round at a time"

Bob...the 5" full lug N-frame looks spot on. I really wish the factory would offer such a model. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Building carpal tunnel one round at a time" They offer that in their "Classic" line. It has been offered in blued (Model 29) as well as stainless (629), although I think they only offer the 629 Classic 5" currently. Here's my 629-4 Classic. Thankfully it was not one of the guns burgled when my house was broken into last year. It would be one of the last guns I'd sell.
