This is a custom Ruger .44 Special that was converted by Mr. Stroh. The gun began life as an average 6 1/2" .357, but visited Mr. Stroh on 2 different occasions for work (the first visit involved cutting the barrel and installing his front sight, the second was the full blown conversion w/ Master Blue finish). I am pleased with the results here...

Very nice. What treatment is on the grip frame or is it stainless? Thanks. The gripframe is a polished Ruger XR3 made of aluminum. The ivory grips are from Nutmeg Sports.

It is nice to see Jim from Nutmeg Sports work on a Ruger. Ironically the flat top that is down at Jim Stroh's right now will be going to Nutmeg Sports for one piece ivories so it is nice to see the work of both men on the same gun.
