It's not totally done, but it has been tested and shot great. Thought I'd post a photo of it as is: Final touches include having the whole thing hard-chromed in brushed MetaLife finish, adding a SS knurled Belt Moutain pin, Bowen rear target sight, and fancy grips. Brass was formed off of 50 Alaskan. My starting load was 40.0 of AA1680 under a 435 grain WFN. I'll go up a few grains with that bullet, but really plan on sighting the gun for 525's @ 1,200 - 1,250 fps (again using AA1680). I'll post pictures when it's finished and also give updates on load development. -Lee www.singleactions.com

My .500 Max is moving along nicely! That cylinder looks FAT! I would like some details, like stainless or molly, barrel length, etc... unless your waiting for the unveiling? Jack Huntington?

Yup, Huntington. The cylinder is 1.780-inches in diameter, and the barrel length will be 6.5-inches with a barrel band, the Bisley grip frame is being modified and fitted, and the revolver will be in blue. Can't wait!
