Just got back from the LGS to do the paperwork for the transfer of a Ruger .44 Special FT. It was better than advertised. Great trigger. While there, I spied an Uberti Cattleman in .44 Spl. Made an offer and it will be coming home too.
Pics when I pick them up Wednesday.

Had mine for several years. Added the SBH hammer and aged stags, ghost ring rear sight. Good shooter. Got one in 45 Colt too.(bottom)

I'm a sucker for the FT's. Especially in .44! I would've been even better if it had been a Bisley. I like Your Bisley J!
Also like those stags on the Plow Handle, veeman!

Here's mine. It began as a horribly fitted RCA 'special edition' "cleanup" gun. Bobby Tyler did the coloring, after the grip frame was fitted to the cylinder frame. It still needs some decent grips.

I have 2. Both 4 5/8ths. My blue Bisley gets some pretty stiff loads. My Ss plow handle gets lighter stuff. That Bisley is tight. I have put a fair amount of 240 grain SWCs through her with 2400. Great guns...tj

I've had three. I kept one, my brother got one and one was a Bisley, which I never fired. Had two Bisley SBHs and never got along with the grip fram. The one I kept got the grip frame swapped for a XR3-RED (heresy, I know) and a NM SBH hammer. THIS was the gun I'd always wanted, so once I got it, all other SAs, OM and NM were sold or traded away. All the others were compromises, but THIS one is PERFECT.

The flattops have a distinctive appearance that lends very well to both minor and major customizations

I pick up my blue 4 & 5/8 inch .44 Spl flattop New Model Blackhawk on Thursday. It’s a Gunbroker purchase, maybe $50 overpriced but what are you gonna do? It is the target companion to a blue 4 & 5/8 .44 Spl New Vaquero backpacking pistol.
Perfect size, perfect caliber. Nice pistol.

Isn't that what they came with? Now I gotta go look at mine.

Mine came with the smaller XR3 grip frame. Smaller frame and different grip screw placement.
