They come with excellent triggers. Some 40oz springs and a little polishing and they are hard to beat.
I have two 500 JRHs, both with 50 AE Cylinders. A PC 475 Linebaugh, 45-70 and now the 357 Magnum. All have been as you described...

I expect some legitimate big bore hunting ballistics and im hoping the short powder column and an MP 454-423 will provide some stellar accuracy to boot.

I can easily understand that. I've got a FA83 with a 45 Auto Rim Cylinder.
I tried the 454 Cylinder when I got the gun. But, the 45 Auto Rim Cylinder lives in the gun.

I have thought about getting a cylinder cut specifically for 45 Cowboy. My bfr is an older 5-shot version I got a good deal on when the previous owner bought a 6-shot.

My 454 bfr is the older 5 shot as well. I cant figure out what i want to do with it. Had it for sale with no takers. My 45c/45acp guns will be rebuilt from 357 base guns. Ross is rechambering 2 cylinders to 45c and ill send the frames to MR for 45acp cylinders to be made. Ill rebarrel myself. Ryan suggested douglas for a blank but mcgowen gives me a great deal. Anyone have experience with a mcgowen barreled revolver? Dave, is that .358w stryker of yours thats such a hummer a mcgowen or shaw? I can't remember.
