Nothing surprises me with rugers lately. I sold my bisley 480 amd bisley 454 because they were bringing such crazy prices. I have a flat top convertible 45 im thinking about selling next while prices are hot. Ill take a BFR or OM 3 screw as they are bargains compared to NM rugers these days!

I paid $399 for my 1980 pre-warning barrel a few years ago, I also didn't know there was a premium for them, but I'm glad I bought then vs now

To the educated buyer,, there is VERY LITTLE if any premium on the NM, pre-warning models. That seller is dreaming. (But it only takes (1) uneducated buyer though!)

"Uneducated buyers" set the market just as much as educated. Probably more so, assuming more buyers are "uneducated".

Yeah, I'd think this comes down to what the buyer prefers over their level of "education."

pretty ridiculous pricing . If anything, the full size NM .357's are the least desirable Blackhawks out there , they weigh a TON and are FAR to overbuilt for the cartridge . Would make a great door stop though

You're paying for the 49 pictures.

One would think that he would be pushing that it's an old model more than a pre-warning. 49 pictures of a shooter om is pretty far, but at least he's not hiding anything.

That is why i would assume they were uneducated in Ruger revolvers. I would have advertised it as an OLD Model Or 3 screw with or with out transfer bar Mod from the factory.. The later being 99. 6 percent of the desirable.

Scroll down and look at "more items" from the same shop.
This is why the only time I ever visit that site is when someone here posts a link and I could use a laugh.
And then I cry, because as stated above, the uneducated (or reckless) set the market. The Internet is a great thing in many ways, but trolling for that one-in-a-million buyer, who hasn't a clue, on the 'net is just too easy. Great for the patient seller, but no so great for those averse to irresponsible spending and debt.
