Strange the warning never bothered me. I removed it from a barrel once, just to do it. Afterwards I thought... "Eh". Wasn't worth my time.
Even stranger I guess is that I think the warning under the barrel looks bad and I don't like it.

The gun I see in the picture is a New Model,, not an Old Model. It has (2) pins & not the normal 3-screws.

Oops,, I only looked at the first picture.
Ok, the second gun is an OM Ruger. And that one is better priced than the "pre-warning NM."
But it's still a bit too high, by a few hundred dollars.
That seller is out fishing with hopes of landing a big fish and using the wrong bait.

That proprietor prices absurdly high on quite a few things. Some of those listings are years old.

I just recently sold one of my OM 357s a 1967, for $550 (friend price). It was in 98% condition.

All .357s are over priced for me, I have no use for the cartridge and haven’t owned one in many years. I could have picked up a NM that was in excellent condition a couple weeks ago for an ok price but declined. If it doesn’t start with a 4, I don’t have much interest.

Then why post in a 357 thread if you are totally disinterested in the cartridge? Did you feel lonely? Maybe you had something productive to add, but just forgot to type it in? Oxygen depletion does cause memory loss, and I am sure it is difficult to breathe with your head that far up your ass.

Maybe he isnt old enough to appreciate the gentle lethality of the .357 yet? I know my wrists sure as hell do!😁

I follow the seller, theoddduckgunshop, because they always have a lot of nice Rugers, however, they are very, very proud of 'em.

Seems like he's so proud of it, he's trying to keep it!

You are correct Sir, and truth is what I wrote. The subject was overpricing I believe and I gave my opinion, which is what most everyone else has done. Mine is worth as much as yours. If you didn’t like my opinion, then have the common courtesy to pass it by.

And the truth is, if you dislike the 357 so much, there's plenty of threads on here that may think your opinion is welcome. As to disparaging the cartridge in a thread that's including it in the title is to open yourself to rebuke. I don't go on 9mm threads to trash talk it and point out there's other cartridges, even though I am very experienced with the 9, and barely survived the times it failed.
Personally, I do like the larger bores, but the 357mag has served well on blackbear over 400 pounds, but I have seen the 44mag fail miserably on a hundred pounds deer.
