This is tempting, but I'm holding out for a NEW blued 4" .38 Diamondback.

It's odd they did three vents on the blued 4.25" whereas the stainless has two. I definitely like the stainless, two-vent look better. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Chasing perfection five shots at a time"

When they bring out a .41 I'll jump. Revolvers start at .40 caliber.

Actually, this is the only gun I find fascinating so far this year. I'm not interested in one, but I'm glad it's being introduced.
Hopefully we'll see some caliber options join the finish options...

I will reserve judgement until I can see one in person, but from that video it sure looks like it has a polished "coating" and not bluing...and grossly uneven at that. Again, could just be the way it is showing up on video.

I'm very tempted by the 3 inch Python in its current offering. A correctly blued 3 inch would be so sweet!

CZ has a history of Black Chrome. I'm curious if these are that or DLC on stainless or actual bluing on carbon steel.

CZ has a history of Black Chrome. I'm curious if these are that or DLC on stainless or actual bluing on carbon steel. Is there actually a way to tell on that specifically if you preview a firearm at your local dealer? I have a 4.25 python that I got in 2023 and I love it. My roommate says it's probably my nicest looking revolver. And if it's legit bluing on carbon steel, and looks as nice as the old python blue, then I figure in another year I can fork over a little extra for one. Overall I'm loving the fact that cz is bringing snake guns back, and I'm hoping that they'll do a 45 or 454 anaconda, which is why I'm holding off on getting a new one of those monsters.

Either Colt, or Jerry Moran, or a little of both, mocked up or built a .41 Mag Python, then shook their heads. And a “.41 Special” for smokeless powder crowds the same challenge. David Bradshaw
