While I was cleaning my 41Mag Redhawk, I noticed their was a stainless Bisley hammer near by. So… I decided to mock up a Bisley spur hammer. Used a pin a bit smaller than the Redhawks hammer pin Since the holes don’t quite line up. I don’t hate it. Might be worth seeing if one could weld a Bisley spur on a Redhawk hammer. What do you guys think?

It's been a long time since I owned a Redhawk so I do not remember disliking it but I CAN say the Super Redhawk sure could use one like that!

Hey! Are you seeing this one, Ronnie? That actually looks better than it does on a Blackhawk!

Among Ronnie Wells’ concepts to improve handling of Ruger Bisley, rotating the spur upward for web-clearance when gripping the Bisley humpback, especially for big mitts or a gloved hand. Your mockup on the Redhawk illustrates a beautiful, practical improvement. David Bradshaw

Man I’d even look at buying another RedHawk if-
1. It had a bisley hammer like that mock up and
2. It had a set of Rob Rowan modified grips like on Greg’s RedHawk .
