It sure feels like a life time. I started shooting SA and DA revolvers in the very early 1970's and haven't stopped.....yet. Started hunting and shooting even earlier, 1958. I have all the vices; Shot competitively, hunted with revolvers, been reloading since 1962, (with Dad's instruction and help), I cast bullets and swage bullets, have a little machine shop in my basement shop for....whatever I need to make on a lathe or mill, firearm related or otherwise. I've been through most iterations of single action revolvers; all generations of Colts, most clones and most percussion clones, have an original #3 S&W in 44 Russian and an Uberti Schofield in 44-40. It would take too long to list everything and I'm confident several aboard have done more. Anyway.....
I was advised of this board by another recent member and it looked like a pretty good place to be. I have a sponge for a mind and there's always more to learn and, hopefully, I might be able to help someone or have an amusing or helpful tidbit of information or knowledge....or a tall tale or two.

Welcome. We should always be striving to learn, and teach others. Information learned and not shared is lost in time.

You are so young! I started shooting sixguns in 1948. Haha!....Yeah...I ain't quite dry behind the ears...lol! It would be an impossibility to have started 5 years before I was born....lol!! Dad was only 19 in 1948 and stationed in Nippon as one of many of the "Army of Occupation." He was much more familiar with and, preferred, the 1911. He had ample opportunity to use it 2 years later in Korea. He never did get used to the idea of me not preferring "automatics." Additionally, thanks to all of you for the fine welcome, it is appreciated.
