Colts may be the real deal, but I won't be trading my Uberti 45Colt/acp for one any time soon, it's a really nice revolver, one I need to take hunting some day. I'll add that I've been enjoying Chollas posts for a while. I especially like his 44 special with the original finish, it's what pushed me to buy mine. And his deer kills!...

I too definitely have some Ubertis that aren't for sale. At the same time, I understand Bob's desire to buy that Colt.
A few years ago I decided I had to have a couple New Frontiers. I quickly added two to my battery.
But, for quality and accuracy, I go to Uberti.
You'll occasionally see a group of uninformed individuals attack just as we've recently observed with Ruger.
I'm particularly fond of when they run out of ammo and say Colt is built of better steel. But, I've asked and never had one tell me what steels are used.
I'm all for anybody owning what makes them happy. But, never understood the juvenile debate of "mine's better."

Finally had the time to get out and shoot today...ran a few cylinder full after an IDPA shoot...
Commercial cast 255 grain SWC/8.0 700-X all rounds shot to the top of the sights at 10 yards...
After exchanging emails with the Seller he agreed to send the $30 he overcharged for postage but refused to adjust the price at all for having misrepresented the gun as LNIB UNFIRED and was obviously not saying "You got a great deal"...meaning that he was pissed because he didn't make as much as he thought he should have on it...
That was on the 13th of December...still no refund for the postage has arrived so yesterday I filed a complaint with GunBroker...
Could care less about the money...unethical Sellers aren't needed on GunBroker...
...to be continued.

...end of the story... The day after I filed the complaint with GB the Seller contacted me to say he had forgotten to send me the $30 he had promised... After some further not so pleasant exchanges I didn't hear anything more from him.
A week later a letter shows up with a somewhat apologetic tone and a check for not just the $60 I requested for a refund but $90... GB was contacted and the matter ended.
I gave him an A for his effort...he gave me a B for "...being difficult to work with..."
