I like it, less the sharp edges of course. I don't have a fixed sight single six to use one on however. I've been considering changing the front sight on my stock super single six, but I haven't taken the plunge yet either direction. I think my first step in refining my sight picture will be to open the notch up on my sight blade some. I did that to my 44 special blackhawk and it helps my eyes under all light conditions.

Fermin, put me down for one "in the white" that fits an OMS6...I've got just the project going into the hopper for this one...thinking one of the Kufas-style jobs with a mercury dime front sight.

Nice! It's always a good idea to send those new ideas of Fermin's up here to Idaho so I can work the kinks out of them for you & I'll have them back in about......6 years, slightly longer if I could get in bushog or Encore's stash!

I'd like to try one of these rear sights, but probably won't unless they can be used with the early Single Sixes and their front sights. Sir, if you make the rear sight taller then you have to increase the front sight height as well.

We need an elevation adjustable front sight to go with the windage adjustable rear sight... Every front sight is adjustable if you order it tall enough. Brass makes it that much easier. š

That's a pretty cool sight setup. But, who's Fermin Garza? I ALMOST took the bait!! Huge thanks to Fermin for that great additional to the the options of single action sighting systems. That's NEAT!

Rather timely as I was just (two weeks ago) reading an old magazine with an article that Gary Sitton wrote on customs and one, I can't recall who and too lazy to look again, was with a very nice replacement fixed rear sight not unlike Fermin's. I do miss his writings...

Fermin made a set of rears similar to this for me last year, with twin set screws custom done to fit an oversized dovetail on a Flattop Colt I got built a few years back.. mine are done to slide tightly in the cut though, not loose, and are absolutely dead solid (and proper) dual locking dovetail sights. I'd attach a picture but don't even know how on this site. But those rears are terrific.
I've told Garza repeatedly that he should mark his stuff with some sorta makers mark like KING used to do... one day his stuff will be remembered shoulder to shoulder to the greats like KING for custom gunsights. Guaranteed.

Hey Fermin,
Just bought my 4th .32 H&R Single Six; a 6.5" late '80s Bisley flat top. Should be here this week and your new rear sight looks lke just the ticket for the start of another project. These ,32s are addictive!
