A lot of guys over on the rugerforum bitching about prices on blackhawks and vaqueros . It is crazy how expensive some models are getting . Prices seem all over the board . Blackhawks and Vaqueros selling for well over 1K-1200 , yet S&W model 69's at an easy $800-900 dollars and Phythons at $1500 . there doesn't seem to be any method to the madness . There is no way I am paying that much for a Ruger as much as I like them when I can get a 69 for less or a Phython for the same price . Maybe folks figure that Ruger single actions will be a thing of the past soon . I wish I still had a pile of them and Colt SAA's , I would sell most of them right now .

Agree on everything getting higher.
A new GP100 in my LGS is $250 higher than the last one I bought a couple years ago.
It's really crazy. I hate to see a recession, but we need a reality reset on guns, vehicles, houses and most everything else...

I don't even think a recession will fix this, you have all these idiots in gun magazines preaching about what great investments firearms are...
I know we've all seen it. Local idiot buys glock, get's cheap night sights installed and stipples the frame at home with a hot needle. Boom, it's on the local gun forum as a "custom" Glock at $200 over MSRP...

One with buffalo horn $4300
Same gun with standard wood or plastic grips is $2300-2800...

Well, a guy would have to have a lot of faith.....or have a screw loose to buy at these prices and think that it is a great investment .
