A good friend who has some Linebaugh guns is getting ready to commission his first build from Bowen, and he's going with a Blue Nimrod. I would like to gather up some pics for him of blue ones with different variations, and am coming up short on the internet. There's a pic out there that's hard to find of an all blue one with case color hammer and trigger, and very nice early factory grips I wish I could find again, but no dice so far. I'd like him to see not only a full blue standard gun, which there are a few pics of on the internet, but also a full blue with fluted cylinder, lanyard ring, and case colored hammer and trigger, or any combination of refinements on an all blue Bowen Nimrod.
Even if posting pics on here doesn't work for you, if you have a nice blue one to show, I'm glad to provide my contact info via PM to receive pics.
Thanks!

What makes a Nimrod, classified a Nimrod?
Sorry for my ignorance, I'm just curious.

The Nimrod name as far as revolvers goes is most often tied to Hamilton since he placed that model in his catalog. Typically it is a five shot bisley with a 5 1/2” banded barrel with the front sight base extending back over the barrel. There can be variations as to 5 versus 6 shot depending on caliber selection and the concept has been down sized to what is sometimes referred to a Nimrodito. At least thus how I see the name used.

Some great stuff here guys. Thanks a bunch, and feel free to keep em comin! He is for sure doing a blue gun, and it will have some sort of fine walnut on it. He's having trouble deciding on standard cylinder or fluted, and whether or not to case color the hammer and trigger, or at least the hammer depending on what can be done.
